The integration brings FieldEdge work orders into Ply and keeps materials in sync, so contractors spend less time tracking down what's on the truck and in the warehouse.
ATLANTA, GA - October 20, 2026 - FieldEdge, a leading field service management solution for home service contractors, today announced a new integration with Ply, a purchasing, inventory, and payments platform built for the trades. The integration connects FieldEdge work orders to Ply's inventory management, giving HVAC, plumbing, and electrical businesses a clearer picture of the materials behind every job.
Together, FieldEdge and Ply address one of the most persistent challenges in the trades: knowing what materials a job needs and what's actually in stock, without keeping the same information in two places. Through this integration, the jobs a business schedules in FieldEdge show up in Ply, and the materials a business stocks stay aligned across both platforms. The result is one accurate catalog and a shared view of every job, so office, warehouse, and field teams are working from the same information.
The integration brings FieldEdge work orders into Ply as jobs, so teams can see what each job calls for. Materials and categories stay in sync between the two platforms, with contractors managing their catalog in Ply and updates carrying over to the FieldEdge item list. Contractors connect the platforms from Ply's integration settings and activate Ply from their FieldEdge account.
"Contractors shouldn't have to keep one inventory list in their field service software and another somewhere else. With this integration, the jobs your technicians run in FieldEdge and the materials you keep in stock are finally looking at the same information." said Dave Wigder, Co-Founder and CEO of Ply.
"FieldEdge is focused on giving contractors access to tools that fit how they already work. Our integration with Ply gives them a direct way to manage inventory alongside their work orders." said Jason Atha, Head of Partnerships at FieldEdge at Xplor Technologies.
Founded in 2022, Ply is transforming how trade businesses manage and buy materials. Built for contractors, suppliers, and service businesses, its platform helps teams track inventory, purchase from suppliers, and pay in one place.
