Huntington Health Appoints LaNice Berry, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, as Vice President, Chief Nurse Executive

Huntington Health, a Cedars-Sinai affiliate, has appointed LaNice Berry, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, as vice president, chief nurse executive, effective September 28, 2026. LaNice will join Huntington's executive management team, where she will focus on advancing patient care and nursing practice.

"She is a strategic, collaborative leader with extensive nursing and operational experience. Her deep commitment to quality, patient safety, patient experience and staff engagement will help us uphold our mission to provide excellent, compassionate care to the community."

LaNice brings more than 15 years of nursing leadership experience across nationally recognized academic medical centers, pediatric health systems and comprehensive cancer centers. Most recently, she served as associate chief nursing officer, patient care services, at City of Hope, where LaNice oversaw a $1.2 billion operating portfolio and more than 2,000 direct and indirect reports. Previously, as director of ambulatory clinical services at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, she led operations for 35 ambulatory clinics and seven off-site care centers serving pediatric and specialty populations.

Having served in leadership roles at both City of Hope and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, which are Magnet-recognized hospitals, LaNice brings valuable experience that will help support Huntington Health's continued Magnet status. Magnet designation, achieved by only about 10% of hospitals in the United States, is considered the gold standard for nursing excellence.

As Huntington's vice president, chief nurse executive, LaNice will advance nursing excellence, quality, safety and patient experience across the organization. She will strengthen professional nursing practice, interdisciplinary collaboration and nursing workforce development while leading enterprise-wide patient care programs and care delivery models that support safe, effective and compassionate care. LaNice will also partner with leaders throughout Huntington and the Cedars-Sinai Health System to advance patient care and operational excellence.
