On 1 April, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Taurimas Valys opened the Lithuanian-French Defense and Security Business Forum, which brought together representatives from both countries' governmental institutions, the business community, and the defense sector.
The Vice-Minister emphasized the importance of strategic cooperation with France in strengthening regional security and resilience.
"This business forum provides an excellent opportunity to further strengthen ties between representatives of the Lithuanian and French defense industries and to discuss ways to further promote innovation in the sector, helping to respond effectively to today's security challenges and ensure long-term stability in Europe," stressed the Vice-Minister.
The forum's discussions focused on building long-term partnerships and promoting broader industrial cooperation to bolster the defence capabilities and resilience of both countries.
