TMPA Legal Wins September - December 2025



TMPA Wins!
September- December 2025

We would like to share some of the recent legal successes TMPA has had for our members. In this report, we will give the names of the attorneys who represented our members but omit the names of the members involved.

Paul G. Aman - Paul G. Aman, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was placed under IA and indefinitely suspended for destruction of evidence. After appeal, the indefinite suspension was reduced to an 8-day suspension.
• Member was placed under IA for untruthfulness and arrest procedures. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded and the case was closed.
• Member received a reprimand for dereliction of duty. After appeal, member was exonerated from any wrong-doing, and the reprimand was removed from member's file.
• Member was placed under IA for theft of a wallet and racial profiling. Upon review, no disciplinary action was taken against member and member was exonerated.
• Member received a complaint alleging member was "above the law". Upon review, the complaint was unfounded.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was no billed by the grand jury.

Kenneth Biggs - Biggs & Greenslade, P.C.
• Member was involved with a suspect who became unresponsive during an arrest. Upon review, member was cleared of any wrong-doing and was no billed by the grand jury.

Greg Cagle - Gregory Cagle, Attorney at Law, P.C.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, the member was no billed by the grand jury.

Steven Dunbar - Law Offices of Steven M. Dunbar
• Member was placed under IA for insubordination. Upon review, the complaint was unfounded and the case was closed.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was cleared by the grand jury.
• Member was placed under IA for use of excessive force. Upon review, the use of force was justified. Member received reprimand for not activating body worn camera.

Randall Moore - Leasor Crass, PC
• Member was in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, IA and the grand jury cleared member.
• Member was placed under IA for use of force with an inmate. Upon review, the IA was dismissed with no corrective action.
• Member received a written reprimand for data entry error. After appeal, the reprimand was reduced to a verbal counseling.
• Member's license was set to be revoked by TCOLE due to training reporting issues and untruthfulness in TCOLE reports. After appeal and a TCOLE hearing, TCOLE agreed to a six-month probated suspension, backdated to the time in question. TCOLE also filed an amended pleading removing all allegations of untruthfulness.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, the DA did not prosecute and the shooting was cleared.

Cody Rideout - Leasor Crass, PC
• Member was reprimanded for a beard policy violation. Upon review and after providing medical evidence showing the need for policy variance, the reprimand was removed from member's file and the case was closed.

Lytza Rojas - Law Office of Lytza Rojas, PLLC
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was no billed.

Travis Williamson - Law Office of Travis Williamson
• Member was placed under two IAs for the way two separate incidents were handled. Upon review, member received a written reprimand for one, and the second IA was not sustained on all counts.
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, the grand jury no billed member.

John Wolf - Wolf & Stallings, PLCC
• Member was involved in an on-duty shooting. Upon review, member was no billed.

Lance Wyatt - Law Office of Lance F Wyatt, PLLC
• Member was placed under IA and received an indefinite suspension for use of force. After appeal, the indefinite suspension was rescinded and removed from member's records. Member was reinstated and received full compensation for time and benefits lost as a result of the indefinite suspension.
