Ever wondered how your City really works? Centennial 101 is your opportunity to go behind the scenes and discover what it takes to keep Centennial running.
Applications are now open for Centennial 101, a free seven-week program that gives residents an inside look at City government. Through interactive presentations, hands-on activities and conversations, participants will learn what makes Centennial unique, how tax dollars are spent and how to become more involved in the community.
Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 31. Space is limited, and only 30 participants will be selected for this year's class.
Classes are held on Thursdays from 5:30 to 9 p.m., beginning September 3 and concluding October 15. Most sessions take place at the City's Eagle Street Facility, 7272 S. Eagle Street. Participants are expected to attend all seven sessions.
