Ball State University Presents 'The Brementown Musicians,' a Theatrical Performance, Oct. 17-19 & 21-25

Ball State University's Department of Theatre and Dance presents The Brementown Musicians-based on stories by the Grimm Brothers and adapted for the stage by Alison Gregory-Oct. 17-19 and 21-25 at Korsgaard Dance Studio in Ball Gymnasium.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the College of Fine Arts box office located at Sursa Performance Hall. Patrons can also purchase tickets online or by phone at 765-285-8749.

In this family-friendly production, four unlikely companions-a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster-band together to overcome challenges and discover the power of friendship and second chances.

"This story reminds us that everyone has value and that second chances can lead to new beginnings," said Donna Seage, director of this production and assistant professor of theatre education at Ball State. "Our cast brings energy, humor, and heart to the stage, making this a perfect production for audiences of all ages."

Music by Hummie Mann is featured in this production. Debbie Hill will provide musical direction, and Olivia Bullock will choreograph the show.

  • Oct. 19: 2:30 p.m.

Ball State's performance of The Brementown Musicians is produced through a special arrangement with Plays for New Audiences.
