TNT Sports Announces Multi-Year Agreement with Paul Bissonnette

TNT Sports today announced a multi-year extension with beloved hockey personality Paul Bissonnette, serving as an NHL on TNT analyst since the rights were acquired in 2021.

"I've been very fortunate and extremely grateful to be part of this amazing team at TNT Sports," says Bissonnette. "The people they've brought together to make this show happen are incredible, and it makes going to work the best every time. I want to thank the crew, staff, and producers who make me look good, as well as my fellow panelists: The Great One Wayne Gretzky, Hank, Ace, and the best bus driver in television, Liam McHugh-along with the rest of the on-air gang: Edzo, Kenny, Bouch, Panger, Jackie, and everyone who helps keep the ship running."

Bissonnette is a mainstay on the NHL on TNT studio show, offering a candid, colorful perspective for hockey fans throughout the season. His chemistry with fellow studio analysts Wayne Gretzky, Henrik Lundqvist, Anson Carter and host Liam McHugh creates genuine, buzzworthy moments that both capture the energy of a team's locker room and deliver insights that bring fans deeper into the action.

In addition to his studio appearances this season, Bissonnette will also, for the first time on TNT, call a live game, joining the analyst team of Brendan Burke and Jody Shelley for the Philadelphia Flyers vs. Buffalo Sabres game on Wednesday, January 14. Bissonnette will take his place between the Flyers and Sabres benches at KeyBank Center - just 40 minutes from his hometown of Welland, Ontario - to add some of his unique, original commentary to the broadcast.

Bissonnette's contributions to NHL on TNT's studio show will continue throughout the rest of the NHL regular season and TNT Sports' coverage of the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, which will begin Saturday, April 18.
