Riyadh-Dentons has advised Nextpower on the joint venture and incorporation of Nextpower Arabia. The new joint venture will accelerate the manufacturing and deployment of utility-scale solar power plants across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Nextpower (Nasdaq: NXT, formerly Nextracker) is a global leader in advanced solar technology solutions, engineering and delivering integrated systems designed to optimise performance and reliability for utility-scale and distributed solar projects worldwide.
Abunayyan Holding is a Saudi conglomerate that is engaged in the field of water, energy and infrastructure, with a legacy of more than 75 years of operations across the Kingdom and the wider MENA region.
The joint venture supports the national and regional energy objectives and Net Zero targets. Nextpower Arabia's strategic objectives are set to specialise in the provision, integration and support of advanced solar tracking systems, yield management and control technologies for large-scale solar plants.
