NIFA Quarterly Call: Artificial Intelligence and Multilingual Communication Presentation

Oregon State University Extension presented on building a strategic collaborative approach for multilingual communication that combines advanced artificial intelligence with human expertise with objectiveness to improve language access, increase efficiency of language services, and strengthen its ability to serve all audiences, including those that are non-English dominant. The goal is not to replace people with technology, but about using technology responsively, ethically, powerfully, and strategically so that human expertise can have even a greater impact. The presentation aims to educate on how to make high quality multilingual communication more scalable, sustainable, and effective while maintaining the human judgment, the cultural understanding, and professional accountability that communities deserve.
