Now Accepting Applications: ASPPH Regional Faculty Lead for Climate and Health Community of Practice

December 17, 2025

ASPPH invites applications for a Regional Faculty Lead to support the next phase of our Climate and Health Community of Practice (CoP). This opportunity is designed for faculty committed to strengthening climate and health education and advancing innovative, practice-ready approaches in the classroom. The selected lead will guide a peer-learning network that helps educators build upon new skills and translate emerging climate knowledge into meaningful curricular change.

In partnership with the Global Network for Academic Public Health (GNAPH) and the Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education (GCCHE), this phase builds on the recent Climate-Ready Classrooms course and will focus on shared resources, case examples, and collaborative problem-solving. The Regional Faculty Lead will facilitate bi-monthly sessions, engage regional experts, foster inclusive discussion, and support participants in developing final deliverables.

The Community of Practice will run from April through August 2026, with an estimated commitment of four to five hours per month. The ASPPH Regional Faculty Lead will receive an honorarium of $1,400. Faculty from ASPPH member institutions are encouraged to apply by Friday, January 23, via our online application.
