TAB member stations are actively leveraging the landmark Texas Media Consumption Study by the Smith Geiger Group to grow revenue in Q4 and set the stage for 2026, with all findings and other assets available online HERE. Login credentials are required and can be secured online.

SmithGeiger researchers presented a robust sales workshop at the 2025 TAB Show last month, demonstrating to hundreds of GSMs and marketing executives the tools and data available to craft effective marketing campaigns to reach Texans as they stack on-air, digital, streaming and social media.

The survey dives deep into topics relevant to Texas Radio and TV stations' sales, news, programming, marketing, digital/streaming, social media, and overall strategy for growing and reaching audiences.

TAB went "big" with this first-ever study, with a projected sample size of 2,000 (2,051 actual respondents), with 25% Spanish language respondents of which 200 were Spanish-dominant and 300 were Spanish-speaking.

The statewide survey data is grouped into eight regions, including North Texas, West Texas, South Texas, Central Texas, East Texas, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
