प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने असम के डिब्रूगढ़ में पूर्वोत्तर की पहली आपातकालीन लैंडिंग सुविधा (ईएलएफ) का उद्घाटन किया। इस अवसर पर श्री मोदी ने कहा कि यह अत्यंत गर्व का विषय है कि पूर्वोत्तर को अपनी पहली आपातकालीन लैंडिंग सुविधा मिली है। उन्होंने इसके महत्व पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि यह स्ट्रेटेजिक दृष्टि से और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के समय अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण सिद्ध होगी।
प्रधानमंत्री ने एक्स पर पोस्ट में लिखा:
"यह अत्यंत गर्व का विषय है कि पूर्वोत्तर को आपातकालीन लैंडिंग सुविधा मिली है। स्ट्रेटेजिक दृष्टि से और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के समय, यह सुविधा बहुत महत्व रखती है।"
