"Today's data shows that inflation has surpassed 4% for the first time in three years - a direct consequence of Donald Trump's failed economic agenda, driven by his chaotic tariffs and illegal war with Iran. In May, Americans continued to pay more for electricity, gas, and food. And for the second month in a row, inflation outpaced wage growth. Trump promised to lower costs on 'Day One.' Instead, his broken promises are draining families' paychecks and squeezing household budgets across the country."
