City of Syracuse - Airport Fuel Farm

Negative Declaration

Onondaga County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Syracuse Airport Fuel Farm will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the renewal of the State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) Permit No. NY0157473. This is an industrial facility located within the Syracuse Hancock Airport, for a stormwater discharge from the jet fuel farm oil/water separator to a storm sewer which flows to a tributary of Bear Trap Creek, a class C (T) stream. No updates or changes to the previous limits within the permit are proposed. A new five-year term is proposed. The project is located at 5786 Widewaters Parkway in the City of Syracuse, New York.
