Position and Department:
Executive Administrative Assistant, Vice President for Student Affairs
How long have you worked at FSU?
I have been a proud member of the Frostburg State University family since 2018.
What 3 words can you use to describe FSU?
If I had to describe FSU in three words, they would be community, supportive, and inclusive.
List any professional or personal accomplishments we can celebrate with you.
During my time at FSU, I have been honored to receive two Staff Employee of the Year Awards and the National Society Impact Leader Award.
What is your favorite thing about working at Frostburg State University?
One of the things I enjoy most about working at FSU is engaging with students, helping them feel welcome, and providing guidance as they navigate their college experience. I strive to maintain a positive attitude and encourage those around me every day.
Is there a faculty and/or staff member that you consider a mentor? If so, who and why?
I am very fortunate to work alongside caring colleagues and mentors who inspire me and collaborate to support our students' success, well-being, and personal growth.
What advice would you give to current students?
My advice to current students is simple: Read your emails, get involved by joining a club or organization, and take advantage of the many resources available on campus.
What do you do for fun?
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active at the gym, and traveling whenever I have the opportunity. I am most excited for my very own Bobcat coming this Fall! Go Bobcats!
