A large number of cancer patients who undergo radiation therapy experience radiation-induced fatigue. Steven Miller, M.D., radiation oncologist and member of the Genitourinary, Gynecologic, Pediatric, Sarcoma, and Thoracic Oncology Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) at Karmanos, shared why this fatigue happens during radiation treatment, how long it may last once this portion of the treatment plan is finished, and how to manage fatigue from radiation therapy.
