TMU Statement on Fatal Shooting at Lambton College

All of us at Toronto Metropolitan University are deeply saddened by the tragic shooting at Lambton College in Sarnia that claimed the life of a student and left two others injured.

This is a devastating and senseless act of violence. Our thoughts are with the victim's family and friends, those who were injured, and the entire Lambton College community.

Incidents like this are especially distressing because they occur to students at institutions dedicated to learning, connection, and growth. We extend our support to the Lambton College community and all those affected by this tragedy.

Events such as these can leave many feeling unsettled, anxious, or vulnerable. We want to remind you of the wellbeing supports are available should you need them.
