Opening of the Forel Platinum Restaurant in Khujand

On November 3, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, officially inaugurated the Forel Platinum restaurant building on Syr Darya Street in the city of Khujand by unveiling a commemorative plaque.

The modern, architecturally attractive facility, located on the banks of the Syr Darya River, was built on the initiative of Gulmohii Khujand LLC and patriotic local entrepreneur Muhsin Shodiev.

The Head of State was informed that the restaurant and banquet hall were constructed using high-quality building materials and marble. The venue is designed to host cultural and national events, wedding celebrations, welcome guests and tourists, and provide high-standard services.

At Forel Platinum, experienced specialists and skilled chefs offer guests and tourists a variety of dishes, primarily trout, salads, and other Tajik and European cuisine, prepared using smoking, frying, and boiling methods.

It was reported that, alongside experienced and highly skilled local chefs, professional chefs from other countries have also been recruited to work at the restaurant.

The Forel Platinum restaurant is equipped with a modern Chiller system imported from abroad, providing integrated heating, cooling, and ventilation.

The restaurant also has its own bakery, where a variety of freshly baked goods with distinctive flavours are prepared and served to customers.

It was noted that Forel Platinum is the third restaurant established through the initiative of entrepreneur Muhsin Shodiev. One of his restaurants is located in the capital, on the banks of the Dushanbe River, while the other two are situated along the Syr Darya River, providing high-quality services to their customers.

Boats are also available along the banks of the Syr Darya for the recreation of guests and tourists. At visitors' request, boat operators offer trips along the river.

The Head of State was also informed that a new modern boat had been built over the course of one year by Mirzorahim Qodiri, a resident of Khujand and a skilled decorative plasterwork craftsman. The boat is now ready to serve guests and tourists along the Syr Darya River.

President Emomali Rahmon highly appreciated Mirzorahim Qodiri's initiative and instructed him and the relevant officials to consider establishing the production of various types of boats in the future, so that such high-quality domestically manufactured products could be used on all major rivers and reservoirs across the country.

President Emomali Rahmon described the constructive initiatives of entrepreneurs in developing and improving the country as exemplary. He emphasized that, alongside recruiting professional chefs from abroad, serious attention should also be given to training internationally qualified chefs from among local specialists, as well as ensuring high standards of service and attracting more tourists.

With the opening of the Forel Platinum restaurant and banquet hall, 80 local residents have been provided with permanent employment.
