Engage PEO Expands Sales Leadership Team

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - September 17, 2026 - Engage PEO, a leading professional employer organization providing HR outsourcing solutions to small and mid-sized businesses nationwide, today announced that Joe Shermer has joined the company as regional vice president of sales, Northeast. Shermer joins Engage's existing regional sales leadership team and will help lead and develop sales professionals, support referral partner relationships and drive continued growth across this long-standing Engage market.

Shermer brings more than two decades of sales, client relationship and leadership experience, including more than 13 years with a large national HR and payroll provider, where he most recently led multiple district managers and sales teams across the region. Under his leadership, his team achieved record-setting performance in consecutive years. His earlier roles focused on helping employers address workforce costs, employee benefits, retention, risk and other business priorities.
