"The Medical Mission at Home is a tangible expression of our organization's mission. Ascension Seton is rooted in a tradition of compassionate healing and service, and we seek to answer the call to bring health, healing and hope to all-especially those who are poor and vulnerable," said Chad Raith, Chief Mission Integration Officer at Ascension Texas. "We meet our neighbors where they are, whether in our hospitals and clinics or even closer to home, providing not just vital medical care, but restoring dignity and respect to our community."
Ascension Seton provided more than 2,900 services over a five hour period. These services included general health assessments, screenings, provider consultations, restorative foot washing, specialized foot care, select prescription medications, compassionate emotional and spiritual support, and connections with local community resources.
Ascension Seton remains deeply dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
