Discover the District – Explore the Medical District. Unwind at Strangewaze.

Since 2016, UT Health Sciences has partnered with the Memphis Medical District Collaborative (MMDC) to improve the Medical District. This year, MMDC celebrates its 10th anniversary and will be hosting a Discover the District event on Wednesday, May 20. This guided bus tour is designed exclusively for students and employees of Memphis' Medical District institutions.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 20 | Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m.

WHERE: Departure & Arrival at Orleans Station OR Medical District Park

WHY: Whether you're brand new to the area or have worked here for years, this is your chance to see the Medical District through fresh eyes and connect with the community around you. This is more than a tour. It's a chance to feel at home in the district where you work, learn, and make a difference every day.

HOW IT WORKS

Three departure times are available to fit your schedule. Select the time that works best for you when you register. Spots are limited, so don't wait!

All Tours End at Medical District Park
When the tour wraps up, all buses will converge at Medical District Park for Strangewaze. Enjoy live music, free food and drinks courtesy of MMDC, and great company with fellow students and colleagues from across the district.

This is free for all Medical District students and employees.

Registration ends Wednesday, May 13, at 11:59 pm (Central). Register now and choose your time slot before they fill up!
