CONSUMER CREDIT ACTIVITY

Complete Credit Solutions, Inc.

On September 28, 2026, the Commissioner entered into a Consent Order with Complete Credit Solutions, Inc. ("CCS"), Flower Mount, Texas. As a result of information obtained during an examination of a consumer collection agency licensee, the Commissioner alleged that from at least September 2023 to December 2024, CCS acted as a consumer collection agency in Connecticut without a license by engaging in the business of debt buying, in violation of Section 36a-801(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes in effect at such time. Based on the contents of the financial affidavit submitted by CCS which showed that it did not have the ability to pay the fine that otherwise would have been imposed against it pursuant to Sections 36a-804(b) and 36a-50(a) of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Commissioner temporarily stayed such fine for three years from the date of the Consent Order. After three years, the stay would no longer be in force and effect if the Respondent remained unable to pay the fine, and the fine would be waived.
