Improved Notary Public Training Platform

INDIANAPOLIS- (October 9, 2025) - Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales announced the launch of a modernized Notary Education Learning Management System (LMS), designed to improve training, compliance, and service for more than 50,000 notaries across the state. The initiative received a recognition award by a national government technology industry organization.

The new platform reflects Secretary Morales' commitment to his office's guiding pillars of being Innovative, Efficient, and Responsive. By consolidating systems, incorporating the latest AI technology, ensuring accessibility compliance, and reducing administrative costs, the LMS enhances the notary training process while laying the foundation for future licensing credential programs within the Indiana Secretary of State's Office.

In recognition of its commitment to technological innovation and public service, the Indiana Secretary of States Office was recently honored by Government Technology (www.govtech.com) with the2025 Best Application Serving the Public at the State Level award. The award was determined by a panel of industry experts and cross-functional government representatives and business leaders, highlighting Indiana's leadership in using technology to improve government efficiency and citizen engagement.
