Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on the €180m financing for LPP, a Polish family-owned fashion group (the Group) operating five brands across 46 markets worldwide.
The financing covered a sustainability-linked loan agreement, divided into committed and uncommitted tranches. The financing is intended primarily for cross-border expansion by the Group of the retail space in Ukraine and corporate investment purposes, both in line with LMA Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles.
The Norton Rose Fulbright team in Warsaw was led by counsel Jacek Smardzewski and included associate Michal Rutkowski working under the supervision of partner Grzegorz Dyczkowski, who heads the firm's Warsaw office and Warsaw banking and finance practice. London-based Norton Rose Fulbright partner James Dunnett also advised on this transaction.
Final Milestone acted as exclusive financial adviser to LPP, while White & Case served as LPP's legal adviser.
