Assessment of the Terrorist Threat in Luxembourg following Developments in the International Security Situation

In light of the current geopolitical context, the Coordination Group for Counter-Terrorism (GCT) met to assess the possible impact on the threat situation in Luxembourg.

Based on the information available at this time, threat level "2" is being maintained.

The GCT will continue to assess the situation on an ongoing basis and will regularly inform the Prime Minister.

As a reminder: The Coordination Group for Counter-Terrorism (GCT) is composed of the State Intelligence Service, the Grand Ducal Police, the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Luxembourg District Court, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, and the High Commission for National Protection.
