Man arrested after stabbing at party

At 2:46 a.m., on June 29, Eugene Police responded to a residence in the 4600 block of Leona Court after a caller reported a stabbing at a party. They coordinated with Eugene Springfield Fire medics to get medical attention to the 36-year-old male victim, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Officers worked to get the six occupants out of the home, and they slowly came out and were detained for an investigation. Once the home was cleared, officers found one of the detained individuals was the suspect and he was taken into the custody while the other individuals were released. The suspect, 36-year-old Edgar Daniel Figueroa, was transported to Lane County Jail on charges of Assault in the Second Degree and Unlawful Use Weapon. Case 25-10275
