SCHAUMBURG, IL - Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, a senior member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, today urged the Trump Administration to work with the British government to obtain testimony from Andrew Mountbatten Windsor as part of ongoing investigations into Jeffrey Epstein's network of sexual abuse and trafficking.
"As part of efforts to uncover the full scope of Jeffrey Epstein's network of abuse, Attorney General Pam Bondi and Secretary of State Marco Rubio should work with our British allies under the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty to secure the testimony of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. The simplest and most transparent course would be for him to appear voluntarily and tell the truth about what he knows.
Instead, the Trump Administration appears more interested in shielding him from accountability than in pursuing justice for survivors, as it continues to delay the release of the Epstein Files. If Mountbatten Windsor enters U.S. territory, the Administration must be prepared to compel his testimony-whether through visa restrictions or lawful subpoena authority-rather than enable another cover-up. The Oversight Committee should also be prepared to ensure those efforts proceed with full transparency. The American people and the survivors of these horrific crimes deserve nothing less."
