The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support celebrated employees' accomplishments during the organization's Quarterly Awards Ceremony September 18.
Employees filled the auditorium at the Naval Activity Center Philadelphia to watch DLA Troop Support Commander Army Brig. Gen. Sean Kelly present team and individual awards, as well as time-in-service recognitions.
"I'm the happiest general in the United States Army," Kelly said. "Why? Because I'm surrounded by this incredible, great workforce. What you all do every day to support the workforce is absolutely incredible."
The presentations began with the DLA Director's Strategic Goals Awards, which are awarded to teams and individuals who make measurable contributions towards achieving goals set forth in the DLA Strategic Plan.
The individual Director's Strategic Goals Award was presented to Michael Rodriguez-Holquin, Business ntegration Branch chief, who was recognized for his exceptional contributions to the Plans and Operation's Business Operations Division. Rodriguez-Holquin developed a comprehensive SharePoint dashboard to track key marketing events and customer support requests, significantly improving workflow and decision-making. Additionally, he created detailed onboarding materials for new employees, ensuring clarity and immediate readiness for accountability.
