ALTOONA, Pa. - Jerry Zolten, professor emeritus of communication arts and sciences and integrative arts at Penn State Altoona, was recently interviewed for an article that appears on the Sølvberget Library and Cultural Centre's website. The centre is located in Stavanger, Norway, and is one of the country's most visited and diverse cultural institutions.

The interview features a series of questions and answers about Zolten's interests and involvement in music.

In addition, his radio documentary, "Time to Lay It Down: the Soundtrack of the Vietnam War," will air on WPSU at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, in honor of Veterans Day.

The two-part documentary is co-produced, co-written and hosted by Zolten. It highlights the wide variety of music during the Vietnam War era, exploring both the soundtrack on the home front and from the perspective of soldiers in the combat zone.
