Now that the holidays are over and the presents have been opened, you may be looking around and thinking now what do I do with all this waste? Whether it's cardboard from boxes, wrapping paper from gifts, old electronics that new ones will now replace - many of these can be recycled! Read on for tips on how to recycle your post-holiday waste.
Cardboard Boxes: These can go in your curbside mixed recycling bin.
Wrapping Paper: As long as the wrapping paper doesn't have foil or glitter, it can be put in your curbside mixed recycling bin.
Old Electronics: You can recycle old electronics so they don't end up in a landfill. Electronics can leech toxins into the environment if not properly disposed of.
Food Waste: What about food waste? Is your fridge or freezer full of leftovers from big holiday meals? Use your leftovers in new and exciting dishes! You can find recipes online specifically for leftovers.
