A friendly farewell football match between Team Thailand and the team of Foreign Military Attachés in the ROK to Bid Farewell to Air Attaché Pongchat Pansri

On 27 September 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, organised a friendly football match between Team Thailand and the team of Foreign Military Attachés in the ROK at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. The event was held on the occasion of Air Attaché Pongchat Phansri's return to assume his duty in Thailand after completion of a 3-year term of duty in the ROK.

H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, presided over the opening ceremony of the match and delivered farewell remarks to Air Attaché Pongchat, recognising his dedicated service over three years. The Ambassador also expressed appreciation and gratitude to Professor Dr. Kewalin Simuang from the Department of Thai, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) for facilitating and generously providing the venue and beverages for all participants.

The event was lively and cheerful, filled with smiles and enthusiastic support from Thai students and members of the Thai community in the ROK.
