The Ramadan Safari Continues on Belitung Island, PT TIMAH Strengthens Ties and Shares Happiness

BELITUNG TIMUR -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk held a gathering and shared happiness with the community in East Belitung through its Ramadan Safari 1447 Hijri program, which took place at the Division Area Belitung in Lenggang Village, Gantung District, East Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province on Friday (March 6, 2026).

The PT TIMAH Ramadan Safari in the Belitung Area was attended by PT TIMAH Commissioner Yuslih Ihza, Director of Operations Handy Geniardi, Director of Human Resources Ratih Mayasari, Division Heads within PT TIMAH Tbk, employees of PT TIMAH Tbk, as well as members of the surrounding community who received social assistance and donations.

The series of events began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the distribution of donations, a Ramadan sermon, a joint prayer, and an iftar gathering.

During the event, PT TIMAH Tbk distributed various forms of social assistance, including donations for 150 orphans, scholarships for Quran memorizers, 600 basic food packages, as well as assistance for Quran teachers and mosque caretakers in East Belitung Regency.

The program, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, created a warm and solemn atmosphere leading up to the iftar gathering.

PT TIMAH Commissioner Yuslih Ihza stated that the Ramadan Safari carried out by PT TIMAH Tbk aims to maintain harmony between Insan Timah and the communities around the company's operational areas.

"The Ramadan Safari that we conduct is an effort to practice Habluminannas, which means maintaining harmony and solidarity among people, especially between Insan Timah and the community in East Belitung," he said.

Yuslih also expressed his hope that the people of East Belitung will continue to support PT TIMAH Tbk's efforts to increase production in order to generate foreign exchange for the country, which in turn can contribute to the welfare of the community.

PT TIMAH Director of Human Resources Ratih Mayasari also delivered motivational remarks to all Insan Timah present.

"If we move forward with unity and resilience, God willing many good things will be created in the future, both for Insan Timah themselves and for the communities in the Belitung area," she said.

Previously, the PT TIMAH Ramadan Safari had been held in Pemali, Belinyu, and Muntok, and will continue in other operational areas.
