Rep. Eric Bell to Participate in Clash Before Class Boxing Event in Jonesboro Tomorrow
ATLANTA - State Representative Eric Bell (D-Jonesboro) will participate in the Clash Before Class charity boxing event TOMORROW, Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1 - 5 p.m. at the Tara Center in Jonesboro.
"This event is not just about boxing," said Rep. Bell. "It is about stepping up for our kids and standing with our community. We are raising money, awareness and expectations. I am proud to be a part of a movement that puts children and families at the center."
The event seeks to raise funds and support for student scholarships, school supplies and services that help children grow and succeed. Hosted by champion boxing and community leader Chris Scott, Clash Before Class aims to combine athletics with a mission of uplifting Georgia's youth. Rep. Bell will compete against Councilman Alfred Dixon.
The evening will include a lineup of boxing matchups, live music and community entertainment.
