Stabbing Investigation – The Forks Grounds: C26-218830

On August 31, 2026, at approximately 10:55 p.m., officers from the Central and East Districts, with the assistance of the K9 Unit responded to a stabbing at the Forks . The victim, a man in his 40s, reported walking through a park at the Forks when he was confronted by a group of unknown youths and stabbed. They group fled the area.
He was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition.
The Major Crimes Unit is assuming the investigation.
