Flatwoods Road Reopens Following Culvert Repairs on North Cumberland WMA

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. - The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) has reopened a section of Flatwoods Road on North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area (NCWMA) following repairs to a washed-out culvert near the Thirteen Hollow trailhead.

The section of road was temporarily closed after heavy rainfall caused significant damage to the roadway and surrounding trail system.

TWRA crews have completed repairs, and the roadway is once again accessible to the public.

Visitors to NCWMA are still encouraged to use caution while traveling throughout the area, as recent rainfall may have affected other roads and trails. Users are encouraged to report any additional damage or hazards to the NCWMA office at 423-566-8557.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is responsible for protecting, managing, and conserving fish and wildlife species for the benefit of Tennesseans and visitors. The Agency also maintains public safety through law enforcement and safety education on waterways.
