Calypso is voluntarily recalling their Calypso Tropic Tango Lemonade in 16 fluid ounce bottles due to the presence of undeclared FD&C Yellow No. 5 on the label, according to a letter from the company sent April 24.
Individuals sensitive to FD&C Yellow No. 5 may experience allergic type reactions. For those sensitive to FD&C Yellow No. 5, consuming the product may result in asthmatic symptoms, urticaria, angioedema, or nasal symptoms. Although FD&C Yellow No. 5 was omitted from the label, FD&C Yellow No. 6 was declared.
