BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' SCHEDULE
January 5 - January 9, 2025

MONDAY, January 5
8:00 a.m. - Executive Session

Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

1. Personnel matters pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4)(f). Purpose: Interviews with county manager candidates.

2:30 p.m. - Regional Commissioners and County Managers Meeting
The Board will attend a joint meeting with Commissioners from Archuleta, Montezuma, San Miguel, San Juan, La Plata and Dolores Counties to discuss county updates and issues of mutual concern. The meeting will be held at the Archuleta County Administration Building, 398 Lewis St, Pagosa Springs.

TUESDAY, January 6
8:00 a.m. - Executive Session
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

1. Personnel matters pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4)(f). Purpose: Interviews with county manager candidates.

10:00 a.m. - Executive Session
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:

1. For purposes of the Board receiving legal advice on specific legal questions pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(b). Purpose: Memorandum of Understanding with Southern Ute Indian Tribe relating to oil and gas and letters of credit supporting development improvement agreements.
2. Determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations; developing strategy for negotiations; and instructing negotiators pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(e). Purpose: Memorandum of Understanding with Southern Ute Indian Tribe relating
   to oil and gas.

WEDNESDAY, January 7
8:30 a.m. - Board Discussion Time
The Commissioners will meet with staff in the Board Room to discuss various issues.

11:00 a.m. - Executive Session

THURSDAY, January 8
4:00 p.m. - Commissioner Chat with Commissioner Matt Salka
Commissioner Matt Salka will host Commissioner Chat in Ignacio from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Residents are encouraged to stop by for an informal chat about county issues or concerns. Commissioner Chat will be held at the Ignacio Community Library, located at 470 Goddard Avenue in Ignacio.
