Serve on the Mayor's Youth Advisory Board!

Are you, or do you know, a local youth who is passionate about the Santa Fe community and an advocate for local youth?

The City of Santa Fe is seeking applications for eight new members of the Mayor's Youth Advisory Board (MYAB).

The Mayor's Youth Advisory Board gives youth ages 14-21 an opportunity to engage in civic leadership, provide input on issues affecting youth, and work directly with City leaders on initiatives that impact the Santa Fe community.

As members of MYAB, youth gain valuable experience in local government, leadership development, public service, and community engagement while helping to ensure that youth voices are represented in City decision-making.

Board members serve two-year terms and attend monthly meetings.

Youth who demonstrate leadership, community involvement, and a desire to make a difference are encouraged to apply. Parents, guardians, teachers, coaches, mentors, and youth-serving organizations are also encouraged to share this opportunity with eligible youth.

Interested applicants can learn more about eligibility requirements and submit an application online.
