Sex Registrant Arrested In Hemet For Lewd Acts With Children

RIVERSIDE, CA - On Thursday, June 8, 2017, Detectives from the Riverside Police Department's Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit served a search warrant in the 300 block of N. Palm Avenue, in the City of Hemet, regarding an ongoing investigation into lewd acts against a child. Tyrone Sanchez, 35-years-old and a known sex registrant, was arrested for numerous sexual assaults on several children. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center with bail set at $1,500,000.
The investigation revealed Sanchez was associated with sexual abuse of minors between the years of 2003 to 2017. Due to Sanchez' personable nature, it is believed there could be other unreported victims. The Riverside Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify any other potential victims.
