If your vehicle was affected by this contaminated gasoline and you are having trouble with a claim with your insurance company, please contact the Division of Insurance for assistance.
If you need to file a claim, keep the following information in mind:

If you have comprehensive coverage, your insurer should pay for damages caused by the contaminated gasoline. You will be responsible for your comprehensive deductible.
-
When you're aware of damage to your engine or gas tank as a result of the contaminated gasoline, report it to your insurer as soon as possible.
-
Do not continue to drive your vehicle if you believe it has been compromised.
-
If you have rental car coverage, the insurer should cover the cost of a rental while your vehicle is being repaired, subject to your policy limits.
-
If you have any questions or need to file a complaint related to your insurance coverage, contact the Division of Insurance at 303.894.7490 and choose Option 3. You can also file a complaint on our website.
