Office of Congressman Mike Lawler Returns $40 Million to Constituents

Pearl River, N.Y.- 1/30/26… Today, Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) announced a significant milestone for his district offices' casework team, which has returned $40 million in funding for the residents of New York's Hudson Valley since he took office in January 2023. This news follows his office announcing that it officially closed over 8,000 constituent case work cases this past week.

Congressman Lawler's casework team has assisted thousands of families and individuals across Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties with issues involving federal agencies, including Social Security, Medicare, veterans' benefits, immigration services, passports, disaster assistance, and tax-related matters.

"Since taking office, my team and I have worked tirelessly to deliver real results for the people of New York's 17th District. I'm proud to report that we've successfully returned over $40 million to our neighbors through casework, helping families, veterans, seniors, and small businesses get the support they deserve. This is what public service is all about: getting things done for the people we represent," said Congressman Lawler.
