Highlighting our yearlong tribute to America's 250th anniversary, the City is hosting a once-in-a-lifetime Mission Viejo Parade on July 11. The parade kicks off at 9 am in front of St. Kilian Church at 26872 Estanciero Drive along Marguerite Parkway turns onto La Paz Road and ends at the BBQ Music Fest at Oso Viejo Community Park, 24932 Veterans Way.
Parking is available for spectators at Mission Viejo High School, 25025 Chrisanta Drive. Shuttles will run between the high school and the parade route from 6 to 8:30 am, and then after the parade until noon. For parade participants, parking will also be available at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way. Shuttles will run between that location and the parade route from 6 to 8:30 am and then following the parade until noon.
An ADA parking lot will be available for spectators at the Potocki Center for the Arts at 27301 La Paz Road with a parade viewing area in front of that along La Paz.
This wonderful event will draw residents and visitors from near and far and celebrate the fabric of our vibrant community. Residents, businesses and visitors should be aware of these road closures to facilitate the parade.
