New Mexico Community Solar: Info Session on April 20

Santa Fe residents can access clean, affordable energy through New Mexico's Community Solar Program, without installing solar panels.

The City is subscribing on behalf of municipal facilities without on-site solar and helping connect residents to available subscriptions.

Community Solar is open to renters and homeowners. Subscribers receive credits on their electricity bills with no upfront costs, no credit checks, and no early termination fees.

Most households can participate. Income-qualified subscribers may save 15% to 20% annually, while others may save about 5%.

Who qualifies?

• Any PNM customer

• Households below 80% of Area Median Income qualify for higher savings

• No documentation required, just a simple form

Join a virtual info session to learn how Community Solar works and how to enroll.

Date: April 20

Time: 5-6 p.m.

Topics include:

• Financial savings

• Income qualifications

• Consumer protections

• Questions and answers
