The Diploma training programme for 2026 is now available, with 18 courses offered on 10 topics and in four languages.

Diploma training courses are part of the International Social Security Association's (ISSA) capacity-building offer to its members, which also includes a Master's in social security management, virtual short courses and upcoming self-service learning opportunities.

Since 2015, around 2,000 social security professionals have benefitted from the International Social Security Association's Diploma training courses. Building on the ISSA Guidelines on Social Security Administration, this capacity-building programme aims to support institutions in applying the Guidelines and offers invaluable learning opportunities to staff in ISSA member organizations worldwide.

18 courses, 10 topics, 4 languages

The training courses are delivered by accredited training partners who continuously enhance the learning experience, and 18 courses are planned in 2026, the majority are in-person, with the one in Spanish being online:

• The International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO) will deliver eight courses in English:
  • Actuarial work; Contribution collection and compliance; Coverage extension; Good governance; Human resource management; Information and communication technology; Investment of social security funds; Service quality.
• The Muhanna Foundation will deliver six courses in Arabic:
  • Contribution collection and compliance; Coverage extension; Good governance; Human resource management; Investment of social security funds; Service quality.
• The National School for Social Security (École Nationale Supérieure de Sécurité Sociale - EN3S) will provide three courses in French:
  • Communication; Error, evasion and fraud; Long-term care services
• The Inter-American Center for Social Security Studies (Centro Interamericano de Estudios de Seguridad Social - CIESS) will provide one online course in Spanish:
  • Communication
