Ferry Site Improvements in Rocky Hill and Glastonbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that ferry site improvements will be performed on the ferry landings in Rocky Hill and Glastonbury. This project started on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and be completed on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The project consists of ferry landing site improvements including fencing, sidewalk, and lighting improvements to achieve better pedestrian access.

CTDOT Project No.0118-0188 was awarded to Colossale Sitework Corporation at a cost of $533,335 on September 19, 2025, and is scheduled to be completed April 21,2026. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Lane closures will be conducted in accordance with the Maintenance and Protection of Traffic and Limitation of Operations specifications included in this contract. Lane closures will not interfere with existing Ferry Operations.
