February 17, 2025 - Midland County residents are invited to share their experiences related to belonging and inclusion via an online survey by the We Hear You Coalition. This survey serves as a follow-up to the We Hear You 2021 community survey, which focused on racial and ethnic inequality and local law enforcement. You may view the 2021 survey's final report here: Midland County Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Final Report (PDF).
Developed in conjunction with Saginaw Valley State University, the We Hear You - Shaping Our Future: 2025 Midland County Belonging Survey explores experiences with belonging and inclusion. It offers community members an opportunity to share their experiences directly with community leaders.
Residents can access the survey online here: 2025 Midland County Belonging Survey. Respondents must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Midland County or the City of Midland to participate. The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous. The survey will be open from Monday, April 21 to Friday, May 23.
The results of the survey will be shared with local government, law enforcement, non-profit organizations, and elected officials to help identify and explore opportunities to foster continued progress in helping every individual feel valued, respected, and included in Midland County. Results will also be shared with the public at a later date.
