High returns, low adoption: air purifiers in Bangladeshi firms

Abstract

The authors year long randomised field experiment in Dhaka's ready-made garment (RMG) manufacturing sector provides the first causal evidence of air purifiers' impact on labour productivity and firm profit.

This paper is part of the Private Enterprise Development in Low-Income Countries (PEDL) programme.
