Library hours to be reduced, two digital streaming resources eliminated.

As part of citywide cost cutting to close a multi-million-dollar City of Hayward budget deficit, Effective Jan. 1, 2026, Hoopla and Kanopy will no longer be available as a digital streaming resource at Hayward Public Library. The City and the Library understand the impact that this may bring to our Library users and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Effective Jan. 1, 2026, Hayward Public Library's hours of operation will be changed, for updated hours and more information, click the link below.
