The City of Alexandria is aware of a nationwide Verizon wireless service outage that may impact customers' ability to make calls, including to 9-1-1 emergency services.
Verizon has confirmed the outage and reports that its engineering teams are working to restore service. The company has not provided an estimated timeline for full-service restoration.
