Road closures scheduled for railroad track maintenance in Norman

BNSF Railway has communicated to the City of Norman that it will temporarily close two railroad crossings in Norman for track maintenance beginning Friday, October 16.
Lexington Street will close at the railroad crossing beginning at 7 a.m. Friday, October 16, and is expected to remain closed through Friday, October 23.
Boyd Street will close at the railroad crossing beginning at 7 a.m. Sunday, October 18, and is expected to remain closed through Sunday, October 25.
Both closures are expected to last approximately one week to allow BNSF Railway crews to complete necessary track maintenance. Questions can be directed to 888-428-2673.
Motorists should plan alternate routes. Drivers should follow any posted traffic control signs and detours.
